About Great Places to Work

The Great Place to Work Institute partners with many of the most successful and innovative businesses around the world to create, study, and recognise great workplaces. During the course of a typical year, Great Place to Work works with more than 6,000 organisations, representing over 10 million employees.

Tom O’Byrne, chief executive, Great Place to Work® comments: “The UK Best Workplaces ranking continues to go from strength to strength. This year, we are delighted to recognise a record 80 organisations who have achieved the coveted status of Best Workplace, a workplace that has high trust and highly engaged employees. We know that this accolade is recognised by Best Workplaces and their audiences as the mark of a quality employer and can be a potent recruitment tool.  First and foremost though, all Best Workplaces recognise the strategic importance of creating and maintaining high trust, great workplaces as this can improve business performance and, for many, the bottom line.”

The methodology of the Best Workplaces study derives from the Great Place to Work® Model© and more than 25 years of research conducted by Robert Levering, Milton Moskowitz and other researchers from the Great Place to Work® Institute.
