Lucy Denny

Group Client Director

Lucy graduated with a 2:1 in Graphic Design and brings over 16 years of international experience in client-side roles and leading major accounts within the design sector, having started her career working for design agency FOURIV on award winning re-brand and positioning projects for premium brands such as Mulberry and Burberry.

Lucy continued as a Strategic Account Director for a range of multi-award winning agencies where she spanned a range of sectors from health and personal care through to digital media. It was this work that instilled Lucy’s passion for creating brands that emotionally resonate with consumers and, ultimately, the desire to explore the full journey between consumer and brand that took Lucy to Unilever where she led both Global and European innovation projects for the Rexona (Sure) for women deodorant brand.

Prior to joining Brand Learning Lucy worked at Tata Global Beverages as Global Brand Manager for Tetley Tea. This was a game changing role for a historically market-led brand where Lucy was responsible for global brand strategy, in particular the creation of a global positioning, brand identity and the formation of collaborative working processes across the business.

At Brand Learning Lucy has played a leading role in the creation and delivery of capability strategies for a broad range of clients including Aviva, British Gas, Danone and Astra Zeneca, as well as acting as Head of Design for the group.

Lucy is a passionate ‘learner’ and as well as being a trained Graphic Designer she also has a CIM PGD in Strategic Marketing, an MRS Research Diploma and is a British Horse Society registered riding instructor. Lucy spends her spare time training and competing her own horse as well as enjoying the countryside with her husband and their 2 dogs.
